المستخلص: تهدف هذه الورقة البحثية إلى تسليط الضوء على موضوع واقع ترجمة أدب الطفل، وقد تطرقت إلى الحديث عن مفهوم أدب الطفل وتاريخ ظهوره، وخصائصه، والأهداف المرجوة منه، ثم انتقلت إلى الحديث عن ترجمة أدب الطفل، والصعوبات التي تواجه مترجم هذا النوع من الأدب، وعرضت الأهداف المرجوة من ترجمة أدب الطفل، والاستراتيجيات المسطرة لتحقيق ترجمة ناجحة، وعرجت أخيرا على واقع ترجمة أدب الطفل في العالم العربي. وقد خلصت إلى جملة من النتائج أهمها: يهدف أدب الطفل إلى تحقيق جملة من الأهداف المنشودة والمتمثلة في: الأهداف اللغوية، والتعليمية، والتربوية، والسلوكية بالإضافة إلى الهدف الأسمى المتمثل في المتعة والتسلية والترويح عن النفس. كما يجب على المترجم للأطفال مراعاة عدة أمور أهمها: تحقيق الأمانة إزاء قراءة النص الهدف، والمحافظة على جمال الأسلوب ورونق العبارة وبلاغتها.

This research paper aims to shed light on the topic of the reality of translating children's literature, and it touched on talking about the concept of children's literature, the date of its appearance, its characteristics, and the desired objectives, then moved on to talk about the translation of children's literature, the difficulties facing the translator of this type of literature, and presented the desired objectives of translating children's literature, the strategies set to achieve a successful translation, and finally touched on the reality of translating children's literature in the Arab world. I have reached a number of conclusions, the most important of which are: Children's literature aims to achieve a number of desired goals, which are: linguistic, educational, pedagogical and behavioral goals, in addition to the ultimate goal of pleasure, entertainment and recreation. The translator of the children must take into account several things, the most important of which are: achieving honesty in the reading of the target text, and maintaining the beauty of the style and the splendor and eloquence of the phrase.
