هدفت هذه الدراسة إلى التعرف على التأثيرات النفسية والاجتماعية لاستخدام الأطفال وإدمانهم للألعاب الإلكترونية من وجهة نظر الآباء والأمهات بهدف الوصول لنتائج تسهم في وضع سياسات وبرامج تربوية ونفسية وإعلامية تخفف من الآثار السلبية للألعاب الإلكترونية وقد تم اختيار (100) مفردة مكونة من الآباء والأمهات. أما وحدات التحليل فكانت عن الأطفال والتأثيرات المحتملة النفسية والاجتماعية عليهم، ولتحقيق أهداف هذه الدراسة تم تصميم استبانة خاصة تقيس التأثيرات النفسية والاجتماعية لاستخدام الأطفال وإدمانهم على الألعاب الإلكترونية. ولتحقيق أهداف الدراسة استخدمت الباحثة المنهج الوصفي المسحي، وتم إعداد استبانة للآباء والأمهات عرضت على مجموعة من المحكميين للتحقق من صدقها وثباتها، وطبقت على عينة مكونة من 100 مفردة من الآباء والأمهات في " مدرسة الشهيد أحمد حسين الرسمية للغات المشتركة " " إدارة شرق المنصورة التعليمية " اختيروا بالطريقة العشوائية البسيطة. وقد توصلت الدراسة إلى العديد من النتائج التي تؤكد ما توصلت إليه الدراسات العربية والعالمية وأشارت نتائج الدراسة إلى أن الآباء والأمهات يرون أن هناك مخاطر كثيرة لهذه الألعاب، وأن الأطفال تتأثر بصورة كبيرة نفسية واجتماعية نتيجة إدمانها لهذه الألعاب، أن ممارسة الأطفال للألعاب الإلكترونية لساعات طويلة باليوم لها آثار سلبية كثيرة منها التأثير على الصحة العامة للطفل (زيادة الوزن، وهشاشة العظام، وتشوهات بالعمود الفقري للطفل، وآلام باليدين، وأضرار بالعين ضعف البصر والسمع وعدم التركيز)، فضلا عن الضعف في السلوك الاجتماعي للطفل كالعنف والعدوان والاضطرابات النفسية وزيادة العدوانية والعصبية والانفعال على الوالدين والعزلة الاجتماعية والسهر الدائم والعصبية الشديدة والتفوه بألفاظ غريبة وغير معتادة، على الأطفال واقترحت عينه الدراسة بضرورة الرقابة الشديدة على مثل هذه الألعاب الإلكترونية. كما أن الحرية الكبيرة في تداول المعلومات على الإنترنت دون ترشيد أو رقابة أدى إلى آثار نفسية واجتماعية وخيمة. وأخيرا أثبتت الدراسة وجود فروق ذات دلالة إحصائية بين استخدام الأطفال وإدمانهم للألعاب الإلكترونية لصالح التأثيرات النفسية والاجتماعية.
This study aimed to identify the psychological and social effects of children’s use and addiction to electronic games from the point of view of fathers and mothers, in order to reach results that contribute to the development of educational, psychological and media policies and programs that mitigate the negative effects of electronic games. and mothers. The results of the study indicated that parents see that there are many dangers to these games, and that children are greatly affected psychologically and socially as a result of their addiction to these games, that children’s playing games for long hours a day, electronic devices have many negative effects, including the impact on the general health of the child (weight gain, osteoporosis, deformities of the child’s spine, pain in the hands, eye damage, poor vision, hearing and lack of focus) As well as weakness in the social behavior of the child such as violence, aggression, psychological disturbances, increased aggressiveness, nervousness, and irritability against parents, social isolation, constant staying up late, extreme nervousness, and uttering strange and unusual words on children. These are electronic games. Also, the great freedom in the circulation of information on the Internet without rationalization or censorship led to severe psychological and social effects. Finally, the study demonstrated the existence of statistically significant differences between children's use and addiction to electronic games in favor of psychological and social effects.
