تهدف هذه الدراسة بصورة رئيسية إلى التعرف وقياس الأثار المترتبة على أثر استخدام الأساليب الكمية في اتخاذ القرارات على أداء واستمرارية الأعمال. تتركز مشكلة البحث في عدم استخدام الأساليب الكمية في اتخاذ القرارات وعدم الاهتمام باتخاذ القرار في حل المشكلات الإدارية بطريقة علمية مما ينعكس سلبًا على قوة العمل واستمراريته والمنافسة على نتائج الأعمال والأداء بصورة عامة من أهم النتائج التي توصل إليها البحث كما يلى: إن درجة المعرفة بالأساليب الكمية كبيرة تمثل نسبة عالية في مواقع اتخاذ القرار، تمثل الدراسات الجامعية والدراسات العليا نسبة عالية من مؤهلات متخذي القرار وهي نسبة كبيرة جدًا، غالبية المستخدمين للأساليب الكمية يستخدمون عددًا محدودًا من هذه الأساليب وقد يعزى السبب إلى قلة المعرفة بالأساليب الكمية الأخرى، تبين الدراسة أن أهم معوقات استخدام الأساليب الكمية هي عدم توفر الأشخاص المتخصصين. وعدم وجود تشجيع من الرؤساء في العمل. وعدم توفر الاعتمادات المالية المناسبة. وعدم وجود البيانات الدقيقة وأهم التوصيات: ضرورة استخدام قسم متخصص في كل إدارة يقوم بعملية تحليل المشكلات وإعطاء التوصيات، إن استحداث هذه الأقسام يقوم من خلاله أصحاب الاختصاص بدفع الإدارات إلى البحث عنهم وتعينهم وبالتالي يقود هذا الاهتمام إلى أن تتبنى الجامعات مناهج دراسية أكثر تخصصية لتلبية هذا الطلب، الاهتمام بالتدريب في إعداد المديرين الموجودين وإعادة تأهيلهم.
