المستخلص: هدفت الدارسة إلى التعرف على دور التفكير الاستراتيجي في دعم القرارات الإدارية في جامعة تبوك، وتحديد العلاقة بين التفكير الاستراتيجي وأبعاده: (شمولية التفكير، التفكير في الوقت المناسب، التوجه نحو الفرضيات، القصد الاستراتيجي) في دعم القرارات الإدارية في جامعة تبوك من وجهة نظر القيادات الأكاديمية، وتقديم تصور مقترح لتعزيز دور التفكير الاستراتيجي في دعم القرارات الإدارية في جامعة تبوك، ولتحقيق تلك الأهداف تم اختيار عينة عشوائية من القيادات الأكاديمية في جامعة تبوك بلغ عددهم (١٤٢) قائداً. واستخدام استبانة لجمع البيانات، واعتمد على المنهج الوصفي في هذه الدراسة. وتوصلت نتائج الدراسة إلى أن درجة تطبيق التفكير الاستراتيجي في دعم القرارات الإدارية في جامعة تبوك من وجهة نظر الأكاديمية جاء بدرجة (متوسطة)، وعلى الأبعاد التالية: (شمولية التفكير، التوجه نحو الفرضيات، القصد الاستراتيجي)، بينما جاءت على بعد التفكير في الوقت المناسب بدرجة عالية، كما توصلت النتائج إلى وجود علاقة إيجابية طردية بين التفكير الاستراتيجي وأبعاده: (شمولية التفكير، التفكير في الوقت المناسب، التوجه نحو الفرضيات، القصد الاستراتيجي) ودعم القرارات الإدارية في جامعة تبوك. كما قدمت الدراسة تصور مقترح لتعزيز دور التفكير الاستراتيجي في دعم القرارات الإدارية في جامعة تبوك.

The study aimed to identify the role of strategic thinking in supporting administrative decisions at the University of Tabuk, and to identify the relationship between strategic thinking and its dimensions: (holistic thinking, timely thinking, orientation towards hypotheses, strategic intent) in supporting administrative decisions at the University of Tabuk from the point of view of academic leaders, and to provide a suggested proposal to enhance the role of strategic thinking in supporting administrative decisions at the University of Tabuk. To achieve these goals, a random sample consisted of (142) leaders, was selected from the academic leaders at the University of Tabuk. The researcher used a questionnaire to collect data, and relied on the descriptive approach in this study. The results of the study concluded that the degree of application of strategic thinking in supporting administrative decisions at the University of Tabuk from the academic point of view came with an (average) degree, and on the following dimensions: (holistic thinking, orientation towards hypotheses, strategic intent), while it came a high degree on the timely thinking dimension, and the results also concluded that there is a positive relationship between strategic thinking and its dimensions: (holistic thinking, timely thinking, orientation towards hypotheses, strategic intent) and supporting administrative decisions at the University of Tabuk. The study also presented a suggested proposal to enhance the role of strategic thinking in supporting administrative decisions at the University of Tabuk.
