المستخلص: تهدف هذه الدراسة إلى تقديم إطار نظري حول الوظائف التنفيذية لدى الطلاب الصم وضعاف السمع، وسعت إلى تقديم وصف شامل ودقيق لمفهوم الوظائف التنفيذية لدى الطلاب الصم وضعاف السمع، والنظريات المفسرة لها، ومكونات الوظائف التنفيذية، وطبيعة الوظائف التنفيذية لدى الطلاب الصم وضعاف السمع، واعتمدت الدراسة على المنهج الوصفي التحليلي، من خلال المراجعة المكثفة لغالبية ما ورد في التراث الأدبي الأجنبي حول الوظائف التنفيذية، ومدى تأثيرها على أداء الطلاب الصم وضعاف السمع، ودور الحرمان السمعي واللغوي في عمل هذه الوظائف، وتوصلت الدراسة في نتائج استعراضها للتراث الأدبي إلى إجماع على وجود قصور في الوظائف التنفيذية لدى الطلاب الصم وضعاف السمع، وأن قصور هذه الوظائف يعد أحد الأسباب المؤدية إلى وجود المشكلات المعرفية والسلوكية والاجتماعية لدى هؤلاء الطلاب، كما أن اللغة والوظائف التنفيذية يؤثر كل منهما في أداء الآخر وبالتالي فإن الحرمان اللغوي عامل رئيس في قصور الوظائف التنفيذية لدى هؤلاء الطلاب، بالإضافة إلى أهمية العمل على تحسين وتنمية الوظائف التنفيذية لدى الطلاب الصم وضعاف السمع من خلال البرامج التدريبية والتدخلات المناسبة.

This study aims to provide a theoretical framework on the executive functions of deaf and hard of hearing students, and sought to provide a comprehensive and accurate description of the concept of executive functions for deaf and hard of hearing students, the theories explaining them, and the components of executive functions, and the extent of their impact on the performance of deaf and hard of hearing students, and the role of auditory and linguistic deprivation in the work of these functions, and the study relied on the descriptive analytical approach, through an extensive review Most of what was mentioned in the foreign literature review about executive functions, and the study concluded in its results that there are shortcomings in executive functions among deaf and hard of hearing students, and that the lack of these functions is one of the reasons leading to the existence of cognitive, behavioral and social problems among these students, and that language and executive functions affect each other in the performance of the other, and therefore language deprivation is a major factor in the lack of executive functions among these students, in addition to the importance of working on Improving and developing the executive functions of deaf and hard of hearing students through training programs and appropriate interventions.
