520 |b  This study aimed to find out the relationship between the attitudes towards teaching with the competencies approach and the professional compatibility of teachers of physical education and sports, where the researcher relied in his study on the descriptive approach, The study population is all teachers of physical education and sports in the middle school and high schools stages in the Laghouat province. The study sample was selected by the random probability method. A Likert-type form was used to measure the attitudes of physical education and sports teachers towards teaching with skills. And a Likert-type form that measures the professional compatibility of physical education and sports teachers, We used mean, standard deviation, Pearson correlation coefficient and one-way analysis of variance, the researcher concluded that there are statistically significant differences between the average degrees of professional compatibility and the attitudes of physical education and sports teachers due to personal and professional factors. There is also a statistically significant relationship between attitudes towards competency-based teaching and professional compatibility among physical education and sports teachers.
