المستخلص: هدفت الدراسة الحالية إلى التعرف على رأس المال النفسي ووجهة الضبط وعلاقتهما بالتسويف الأكاديمي لدى عينة من طلاب جامعة الملك عبد العزيز بجدة، والتعرف على الفروق بين متوسطات درجات العينة في رأس المال النفسي ووجهة الضبط والتسويف الأكاديمي وفقا لمتغيرات (الجنس، والتخصص العلمي، والحالة الاجتماعية)، بالإضافة إلى التعرف على إمكانية التنبؤ بالتسويف الأكاديمي من خلال رأس المال النفسي ووجهة الضبط، وتألفت عينة الدراسة من (٤١٣) طالب وطالبة، اختيروا عن طريق العينة العشوائية الطبقية. واستخدمت الدراسة مقياس رأس المال النفسي ومقياس وجهة الضبط، وهما من إعداد الباحثتين، أما مقياس التسويف الأكاديمي فهو إعداد غانم، سعادة، وعشري (2018)، وأظهرت نتائج الدراسة وجود علاقة ارتباطية عكسية دالة إحصائيا بين الدرجة الكلية والأبعاد الفرعية لرأس المال النفسي والدرجة الكلية والأبعاد الفرعية للتسويف الأكاديمي، ووجود علاقة ارتباطية عكسية دالة إحصائيا بين وجهة الضبط الداخلية والدرجة الكلية والأبعاد الفرعية للتسويف الأكاديمي ما عدا بعد الخوف من الفشل، وبعد المشاعر السلبية، فهما غير دالين، بينما توجد علاقة ارتباطية طردية ودالة إحصائيا بين وجهة الضبط الخارجية والدرجة الكلية والأبعاد الفرعية للتسويف الأكاديمي، ولا توجد فروق ذات دلالة إحصائية في رأس المال النفسي ترجع إلى اختلاف الجنس، بينما توجد فروق ذات دلالة إحصائية في رأس المال النفسي ترجع إلى اختلاف التخصص العلمي لصالح طلاب التخصصات الأدبية والحالة الاجتماعية لصالح المتزوجين، ولا توجد فروق ذات دلالة إحصائية في الدرجة الكلية والأبعاد الفرعية لوجهة الضبط ترجع إلى اختلاف الجنس والتخصص العلمي والحالة الاجتماعية، كذلك لا توجد فروق ذات دلالة إحصائية في التسويف الأكاديمي ترجع إلى اختلاف الجنس، بينما توجد فروق ذات دلالة إحصائية في التسويف الأكاديمي ترجع إلى اختلاف التخصص العلمي لصالح طلاب التخصصات العلمية والحالة الاجتماعية لصالح غير المتزوجين، ويوجد تأثير دال إحصائيا لرأس المال النفسي في التنبؤ بالتسويف الأكاديمي، كما يوجد تأثير دال إحصائيا لأبعاد وجهة الضبط في التنبؤ بالتسويف الأكاديمي، وتوصي الدراسة بالعمل على تنمية رأس المال النفسي ووجهة الضبط الداخلية لدى طلاب الجامعة، من أجل تنمية خبراتهم في كيفية خفض التسويف الأكاديمي والمخاطر المرتبطة به.

The current study aimed to identify Psychological Capital, Locus of Control and their relationship with Academic Procrastination among a sample of students at King Abdulaziz University in Jeddah, and to identify the differences in their average scores according to the variables of gender, scientific specialization, and marital status. In addition to identifying the possibility of predicting Academic Procrastination through Psychological Capital and Locus of Control, the study sample consisted of (413) male and female students, who were selected through the stratified random sample. The study used the Psychological Capital scale and the Locus of Control scale, which were prepared by the two researchers, while the Academic Procrastination scale was prepared by Ghanem, Saada, and Ashry (2018).The results of the study showed that there is a negative statistically significant correlation between the total score and the sub-dimensions of Psychological Capital and the total score and the sub-dimensions of Academic Procrastination, and there is a negative statistically significant correlation between Internal Locus of Control and the total score and the sub dimensions of Academic Procrastination except dimension fear of failure and dimension negative feelings. while there is a positive statistically significant correlation between External Locus of Control and the total score and the sub dimensions of Academic Procrastination. There are no statistically significant differences in Psychological Capital due to gender, while there are statistically significant differences in Psychological Capital due to scientific specialization In favor of students of humanities and arts majors and marital status in favor of married couples, and there are no statistically significant differences in the total score and the sub-dimensions of Locus of Control due to gender, scientific specialization and marital status, there are also no statistically significant differences in Academic Procrastination due to gender, while there are statistically significant differences in Procrastination Academic specialization due to scientific specialization in favor of students of scientific majors and marital status in favor of unmarried people. There is a statistically significant effect of Psychological Capital in predicting Academic Procrastination. The statistically significant effect of the dimensions of the Locus of Control is also found in the prediction of Academic Procrastination. The study recommends the development of the Psychological Capital and internal control points of the university's students to develop their experiences on how to reduce Academic Procrastination and associated risks.
