المستخلص: هذا البحث هو محاولة لمقاربة تاريخ مدينة وهران والمرسى الكبير، والذي لا يحل بأي حال من الأحوال جميع الألغاز والحقائق التي تظهرها معرفة إحدى مناطق الإيالة الجزائرية خلال القرن الثامن عشر. نحن نواجه عالماً معقداً عسكرياً وثقافياً وسياسياً واجتماعياً ونقدياً ودينيا وإنسانيًا. نحن نواجه فضاء مندمجا ضمن الحدود التقليدية بين الإسلام والمسيحية والتي بدأت في منتصف العصور الوسطى ولا يمكن لنا دراستها فقط من خلال المخطوطات والنصوص الإسبانية، والا سوف نتطرق لتاريخ هذه المنطقة من وجهة نظر واحدة. مما دفعنا لدراسة مخطوط عربي بعنوان الرحلة القمرية في السيرة المحمدية والتعريف بمؤلفه محمد المصطفى ابن عبد الله بن عبد الرحمن الدحاوي على ثراء نصه يعد من بين أفضل المصادر العربية المحلية التي تطرقت لتاريخ منطقة وهران.

This research is an attempt to approach the history of the double presidio of Oran and Mazalquivir, which in no way resolves all the enigmas and realities that bear witness to the knowledge of one of the regions of the Regency of Algiers in the 18th century. We are dealing with a complex military, cultural, political, social, monetary, religious and human world. It is a region that is part of the traditional frontier between Islam and Christianity, which began in the middle Ages. Its study cannot be approached solely from Spanish manuscripts and texts, otherwise it would be assumed that we are making a history with the view of only one of its sides. These reasons encouraged us to decide to approach the study of the manuscript entitled « Al Rihla Al Kamaria fi Al sīra Al Mohamadia » and to pay tribute to its author Mohamed al Mustafa ibn Abdulāh ibn Abdurrahmān Al Dahāwi, who figures, by the richness of his text, among the best local sources in Arabic concerning the region of Oran.

La recherche présentée ici est une tentative d’approche de l’histoire du double présidio, Oran et Mazalquivir, qui ne résout en rien toutes les énigmes et réalités que révèle la connaissance d’une des régions de la Régence d’Alger au XVIIIe siècle. Nous sommes face à un monde complexe, militaire, culturel, politique, social, monétaire, religieux et humain. Il s’agit d’une région qui fait partie de la frontière traditionnelle entre l’islam et le christianisme, qui a débuté au Moyen Âge. Son étude ne peut pas être abordée uniquement à partir des manuscrits et des textes espagnols, sinon, on supposerait que nous faisons une histoire avec la vue d’un seul de ses versants. Ces raisons nous ont encouragé à décider d’entreprendre l’étude du manuscrit intitulé «Al Rihla Al Kamaria fi Al sīra Al Mohamadia» et à rendre hommage à son auteur Mohamed al Mustafa ibn Abdulāh ibn Abdurrahmān Al Dahāwi, qui figure, pour la richesse de son texte, parmi les meilleures sources locales en arabe relatives à la région d’Oran.
