The study (the constitutional and legal regulation of the resignation of a member of the House of Representatives in Iraq) is of great importance at the legal level, especially the recent increase in requests for resignation, which requires that this issue be addressed by jurists and monitoring its legal regulation. During this research, we dealt with the analysis and scrutiny of the laws regulating it. For this topic, with an explanation of its shortcomings, the nature of the research required dividing it into three sections. In the first section, we dealt with the nature of the resignation of a member of the House of Representatives, as we divided it into two topics. We devoted the first to the concept of the resignation of a member of the House of Representatives, while the second was devoted to the nature of the resignation of a member of the House of Representatives. Representatives, and in the second section we discussed the legal provisions related to the resignation of a member of the House of Representatives, as we divided it into two demands. We devoted the first requirement to the resignation of a member in the Constitution and the bylaws of the House of Representatives. The second requirement was devoted to the resignation of a member of the House of Representatives in accordance with the applicable laws. As for the third section, we discussed the implications.
