The objective of this article is to determine the impact of quality of work life on factors that may generate psychosocial risks within the Lafarge Oggaz cement plant located in the Mascara province. To carry out this study, a questionnaire was distributed to a sample of 230 employees; the results have highlighted the positive impact of several dimensions of quality of work life on psychosocial factors within the factory. Firstly, job and career satisfaction were associated with a notable improvement in psychosocial conditions. Furthermore, overall well-being as well as the balance between work and personal life showed positive correlations with these same factors. It is important to note that these influences appear to mitigate the negative impact of psychosocial risks, thereby providing avenues to enhance employee well-being. However, the study has also revealed a concerning outcome: a negative correlation between work-related stress and psychosocial elements. This finding suggests that work-related stress could potentially amplify psychosocial risks among employees.
