The research aimed to identify the psychometric characteristics of the positivity scale for a sample of secondary school students. Students from the first secondary grade at Khatam Al- Mursaleen School in Beni Suef, their ages ranged between (15.00: 16.5) years, with an arithmetic mean (15.90) and a standard deviation (0.35). The appropriate statistic, and the results of the research concluded that there are indicators of internal consistency, validity, and stability of the positivity scale among secondary school students, which makes it a usable tool to achieve the goals for which it was set. Among the research recommendations is conducting more research related to the psychometric properties of the positivity scale among secondary school students. And activating the role of the family in enhancing the level of positivity among their children, in addition to the concerted efforts of local community institutions in a way that contributes to building positive students.
The study aimed to highlight the role of non-curricular activities in achieving a safe school, and to reveal the reality of the requirements necessary to practice extra-curricular activities to achieve a safe school. The study relied on the descriptive survey method, and used the questionnaire as its tool. The size of the study sample reached (342) leaders and supervisors, and the study concluded The study members agreed to a very large extent on the requirements necessary for practicing extra curricular activities in achieving a safe school, and that the reality of practicing extra-curricular activities in achieving a safe school came to a large extent within the opinions of the study members, and the opinions of the study members came about the obstacles to achieving extra-curricular activities for a safe school. To a large extent, the most prominent proposed solutions were as follows: The opinions of the study members agreed to a very large extent on the proposal to allocate a separate budget for non curricular activities in order to achieve a safe school, and the proposal to create an incentive system related to non-curricular activities to achieve a safe school was very high.
