This study attempts to find out the impact of using MCQ as an assessment or test tool on teaching and assessing English productive skills. This problem is observed from the law level of English language universities students in writing and speaking skills. The qualitative approach has been adopted by conducting six interviews. The participants of this study are English language teachers in Ahmad Ateiq secondary school. The majority of the participants' opinions were considered. Therefore, the findings demonstrate that learning writing and speaking skills are negatively affected by the use of MCQ at final-year of secondary stage, without giving a chance to teach and practice these skills. In addition, the test paper should contain two essential parts: objective items (mainly multiple-choice item) and subjective items. The combination of objective items and subjective items can make up each other deficiencies so as to ensure the practicality of operation in large-scale language testing and its communication, and at the same time to make the language testing scientific to the greatest possible.
