المستخلص: يهدف البحث الحالي التعرف إلى سلوك حماية الذات والإبداع الانفعالي لدى طالبات قسم رياض الأطفال ومعرفة العلاقة الارتباطية بين متغيرين (سلوك حماية الذات والإبداع الانفعالي) لدى عينة البحث، وكانت أداة البحث هي تبني مقياس سلوك الحماية الذاتية وبناء مقياس للإبداع الانفعالي: بعد الاطلاع على الدراسات السابقة ومراجعة الأدبيات النفسية التي تناولت سلوك الحماية الذاتية والإبداع الانفعالي، تبنت الباحثة مقياس يتناسب مع عينة البحث الحالي وأهدافه وهو مقياس (خضير، 2023) لسلوك حماية الذات، وتم بناء مقياس الإبداع الانفعالي وفق نظرية افريل (Averill, 1999) وتكون المقياس من ثلاث مكونات (المرونة، الأصالة، والفعالية) وأصبح مجموع فقرات المقياس (30) فقرة، وتكونت عينة البحث من (334) طالبة من قسم رياض الأطفال، واستخدمت الوسائل الإحصائية المناسبة لتحقيق أهداف البحث، وتوصل البحث إلى النتائج الآتية، أن شريحة طالبات قسم رياض الأطفال لديهم سلوك حماية لذواتهم، ويتمتعن بإبداع انفعالي يمكنهن من مواجهة المواقف الصعبة والمؤلمة ومتكيفة مع رفيقاتها، وهناك علاقة ارتباطية بين المتغيرين لطالبات المرحلة الثالثة أكثر من المراحل الأخرى، ومن جانب آخر ضعف العلاقة بين المتغيرين في المرحلة الرابعة، وقد خرج البحث بمجموعة من التوصيات والمقترحات.

The current research aims to identify self-protection behavior and emotional creativity among female students in the kindergarten department and to know the correlation between two variables (self-protection behavior and emotional creativity) in the research sample. The research tool was adopting a measure of self-protection behavior and constructing a measure of emotional creativity: after reviewing previous studies. By reviewing the psychological literature that dealt with self-protective behavior and emotional creativity, the researcher adopted a scale that suits the sample and objectives of the current research, which is the (Khudair, 2023) scale for self-protective behavior. The emotional creativity scale was built according to Averill's theory (Averill, 1999), and the scale consists of three components. (Flexibility, originality, and effectiveness) The total number of items in the scale became (30) items, and the research sample consisted of (334) female students from the kindergarten department. Appropriate statistical methods were used to achieve the research objectives. The research reached the following results: that the segment of female students from the kindergarten department had Self-protective behavior, and they have emotional creativity that enables them to face difficult and painful situations and adapt to their companions. There is a correlation between the two variables for female students in the third stage, more than in other stages. On the other hand, the relationship between the two variables in the fourth stage is weak. The research came out with a set of recommendations and proposals.
