المستخلص: هدف البحث إلي تنمية الوعي بالقضايا البيئية في مادة الدراسات الاجتماعية لدي تلاميذ الصف الأول الإعدادي، وتم استخدام المنهج الوصفي في إعداد الإطار النظري للبحث، والدراسات السابقة ولتحقيق هدف البحث تم إعداد قائمة بإبعاد الوعي بالقضايا البيئية الواجب تنميتها لدى تلاميذ الصف الأول الإعدادي. - توصلت نتائج البحث إلي : تنمية الوعي بالقضايا البيئية لدي تلاميذ الصف الأول الإعدادي في مادة الدراسات الاجتماعية ويرجع ذلك إلي : ١- تضمين قضايا بيئية ومشكلات مرتبطة بحياة التلاميذ والمشاركة في معالجة تلك المشكلات والحد من الآثار السلبية الناتجة عنها، مما يزيد من ربط التلاميذ ببيئاتهم ومجتمعاتهم. ٢- جعل التلميذ نشطاً إيجابيًا في اكتساب المعلومات من خلال التحديد الدقيق لدور كل من التلميذ والمعلم أثناء التطبيق، فيتسم دور المعلم بالتوجيه والإرشاد والتفاعل بينه وبين التلاميذ، وتقديم المساعدة في الوقت المناسب، وذلك للوصول إلي المستوي المطلوب في تحقيق الأهداف، بالإضافة إلى دور التلميذ الإيجابي الذي يعتمد فيه اعتمادًا كبير علي نفسه. أوصي البحث بما يلي: 1 - عقد دورات تدريبية للمعلمين أثناء الخدمة حول البيئة ومخاطرها بهدف إرشادهم لتحقيق الوعي البيئي لدي تلاميذهم. 2- تدريب التلاميذ على توظيف المعلومات التي يتضمنها المقرر الدراسي في صورة مواقف ومشكلات مما يشجيعهم علي البحث والاستقصاء و حل المشكلات بأساليب متنوعة تناسب القضايا البيئية 3- ضرورة الاهتمام بالوعي بالقضايا البيئية ضمن أهداف تعليم الدراسات الاجتماعية بشكل عام وتعليم المرحلة الإعدادية بشكل خاص.

The research aimed to develop awareness of environmental issues in the social studies subject for the first year of middle school pupils ,the descriptive approach was used in preparing the theoretical framework for the research and previous studies, to achieve the research goal was prepared alist of dimensions of Awareness of Environmental Issues that must be developed among first year middle school pupils. The research results reached: Developing awareness of environmental issues for the first year of middle school pupils, in the social studies subject this is due to: 1- Including of environmental issues and problems related to the lives of pupils, participating in addressing these problems and reducing the negative effects Results from them, which increases the connection of pupils, to their environments and society. 2- make pupils positively active in acquiring information through carefully identification of the role of both pupils and teacher during application, where the role of teacher is characterized by guidance and interaction between him and pupils and providing assistance at the appropriate time in order to reach the required level in achieving the goals, in addition to the positive role of the pupil in which he relies heavily on him self. Recommend Research the following : 1-Holding training courses for in service teachers about the Environment and its risks with the aim of guiding them to achive Environmental Awareness among their pupils. 2- Training pupils to use the information included in the courses in the form of situations and problems, which encourages them to Research, investigate, and solve problems in a variety of ways that suit Environmental Issues. 3- The necessity of paying attention to Awareness of Environmental Issues within the goals of social studies subject education in general and preparatory stage education in particular.
