|a هدف البحث إلى الكشف عن مستوى الشدة النفسية لدى عينة من طلاب الجامعات السعودية، إلى جانب التعرف على الفروق في مستويات الشدة النفسية لدى العينة وفقا لمتغيري النوع والمستوى الاقتصادي. وتمثلت العينة في (584) طالب وطالبة من الجامعات السعودية ضمن الفئة العمرية (18-53) سنة، بلغ متوسط أعمارهم (25,76) سنة وانحراف معياري (5,95) سنوات، حيث تم اختيارهم عشوائيا. كما أعدت الباحثة مقياس ثلاثي الأبعاد للشدة النفسية، ومن خلال المنهج الوصفي المقارن كشف البحث عن وجود مستوى متوسط من الشدة النفسية لدى طلاب الجامعة في المجتمع السعودي، بالإضافة إلى وجود فروق دالة إحصائيا بين متوسطات درجات العينة في الشدة النفسية تبعا لمتغير النوع لصالح الإناث، كما توجد فروق دالة إحصائيا بين متوسطات درجات العينة في الشدة النفسية تبعا لمتغير المستوى الاقتصادي الصالح ذوي المستوى المنخفض.
|b The aim of the research is to investigate the level of psychological distress among a sample of Saudi university students, as well as to identify differences in the levels of psychological distress among the sample according to gender and socioeconomic status. The sample consisted of (584) male and female students from Saudi universities in the age group of (18-53) years, with a mean age of (25.76) years and a standard deviation of 5.95 years, randomly selected. The researcher developed a three-dimensional scale for psychological distress, and the research, through the comparative descriptive method, revealed the presence of a moderate level of psychological distress among university students in Saudi society, in addition to statistically significant differences between the sample means in psychological distress according to gender in favor of females. There are also statistically significant differences between the sample means in psychological distress according to socioeconomic status in favor of those with low socioeconomic status.
