This study examines the titles of Master’s dissertations in French foreign language didactics, analyzing their compliance with academic standards and scientific relevance. The analysis reveals a predominance of classical themes, such as oral and written skills, as well as the integration of new technologies in education. While most titles are clear and relevant, some weaknesses are identified, including lack of originality, excessive generality, and insufficient contextualization. By integrating quantitative and qualitative approaches, the study provides a comprehensive evaluation of master’s thesis titles in the field of French as a Foreign Language (FFL) didactics at the University of El Oued. Recommendations are offered to improve title writing, including targeted training and rigorous review processes.
