المستخلص: هدف البحث إلى الكشف عن واقع وعي طلبة قسم دراسات المعلومات بالأدوار المستحدثة لمهنة أخصائي المعلومات والمكتبات في ضوء الذكاء الاصطناعي، وتكونت عينة البحث من (۲۱۰) طالب وطالبة من طلبة التدريب الميداني بقسم دراسات المعلومات بكلية التربية الأساسية بالهيئة العامة للتعليم التطبيقي والتدريب بدولة الكويت، منهم (٤٥) طالب، و (١٦٥) طالبة، واعتمد الباحث على المنهج الوصفي التحليلي في البحث الحالي، وأعد الباحث استبيان الوعي بالأدوار المستحدثة لأخصائي المكتبات والمعلومات في ضوء الذكاء الاصطناعي، وتوصلت النتائج أن وعي طلبة قسم دراسات المعلومات بالأدوار المستحدثة لأخصائي المكتبات والمعلومات في ضوء الذكاء الاصطناعي يقع في المستوى المتوسط، وأهم الأدوار التي يلم بها الطلاب هي: فحص الاقتباس باستخدام أدوات الذكاء الاصطناعي، التدقيق اللغوي ومراجعة وفحص المحتوى باستخدام أدوات الذكاء الاصطناعي، استخدام برامج الذكاء الاصطناعي في دعم الناشرين والباحثين بالمجلات الأنسب للتخصص، تعديل وإضافة المعلومات باستخدام الخوادم الخاصة بالمعلومات تدريب الباحثين على البرامج المستخدمة في الكتابة الأكاديمية، استخدام أدوات الذكاء الاصطناعي في الوصول السريع لمصادر المعلومات، الإلمام بنظم إدارة البيانات الضخمة وتحليلها؛ كما توصلت النتائج إلى أهم المهارات المهنية والأدوار المستحدثة لمهنة أخصائي المعلومات والمكتبات في ضوء الذكاء الاصطناعي التي يحتاج طلبة قسم دراسات المعلومات الوعي بها هي برمجة النظم والمواقع الإلكترونية؛ تصميم بوابة إلكترونية للمكتبة؛ تفكيك وتحليل البحوث والمعلومات باستخدام أدوات الذكاء الاصطناعي؛ استخدام أدوات الذكاء الاصطناعي في تنظيم المواد الرقمية؛ تطوير استراتيجيات استرجاع المعلومات؛ تنسيق وإعادة صياغة المحتوى باستخدام أدوات الذكاء الاصطناعي؛ استخراج الإحصاءات المرتبطة بمصادر المعلومات باستخدام أدوات الذكاء الاصطناعي؛ المعرفة الكافية بأدوات ونظم وبرمجيات التحليل الإحصائي.

The research aimed to reveal The Reality of Awareness of Information Studies Department Students’ about the New Roles of the Profession Information and Library Specialist in light of Artificial intelligence, the research sample consisted of (210) male and female field training students in the Information Studies Department at the College of Basic Education at the National Authority for Applied Education and Training in the State of Kuwait, including (45) male students, and (165) female students. The researcher relied on the descriptive analytical approach in the current research, and the researcher prepared an awareness questionnaire about the new roles of library and information specialists in light of artificial intelligence. the results concluded that the awareness of the students of the Information Studies Department about the new roles of library and information specialists in light of artificial intelligence is at the intermediate level, and the most important roles that they are aware of. What students do are: examining the citation using artificial intelligence tools, Linguistic proofreading, reviewing and examining content using artificial intelligence tools, using artificial intelligence programs to support publishers and researchers in journals best suited to the specialty, modifying and adding information using information servers, training researchers on programs used in academic writing, using artificial intelligence tools to quickly access information sources, familiarity Big data management and analysis systems; the results also revealed the most important professional skills and new roles for the profession of information and library specialist in light of artificial intelligence, which students of the Information Studies Department need to be aware of: programming systems and websites; Designing an electronic portal for the library; Deconstruct and analyze research and information using artificial intelligence tools; Using artificial intelligence tools to organize digital materials; Develop information retrieval strategies; Formatting and reworking content using AI tools; Extracting statistics related to information sources using artificial intelligence tools; Sufficient knowledge of statistical analysis tools, systems and software.
