Like all social research that requires a goal to be conducted, the current study aims to investigate the nature of university professors' representations towards the distance education strategy in light of the Corona pandemic and the most prominent factors that contribute to activating this process. To answer its hypotheses, we had to rely on the social survey method and use the observation and questionnaire tools after distributing them to an experimental sample and subjecting them to arbitration. They were applied to a purposive sample consisting of 30 professors in the Department of Social Sciences at the University of Chlef. To reach objective results, we relied on the k2 test, Pearson's correlation coefficient, and the Spearman-Brown correction equation to test the validity and reliability of the tool. The results showed that there was agreement among professors towards this strategy in light of this pandemic in terms of its effectiveness.
