The school is a social institution responsible for educating students and instilling values in accordance with educational curricula derived from Islamic religion and the social and cultural heritage of society. Undoubtedly, Algeria has adopted a set of general and specific criteria for educational curricula to develop education to keep pace with the cognitive and technological development. To keep up with this rapid scientific development, the Algerian state has gradually abandoned the French colonial language and replaced it with the English language due to its direct connection to technological and knowledge progress. Recognizing this reality, the Algerian Ministry of Education adopted the teaching of English in the third year of primary education as a core subject, applying the same standards as other subjects, following its experience in teaching English at the middle and secondary levels. |
