This study focused on linguistics and socioeconomic factors that affect the foreign Language learners at Shaqra University. The major objectives of this study are summarized in the Following points: To measure the effect of linguistics and socioeconomic factors on English language students’ writing at faculty of education at Shaqra university and to test the effect of social relationship and economic status of Learners’ families on English language. Moreover, to test the effect of linguistics barriers on English language students’ writing free composition. The study use descriptive analytical approach the researcher used the questionnaire as data gathering tools. For the analysis and interpretation of the data a statistical of the SPSS (Statistical Packages for Social Sciences) was used. The results of the study revealed that socioeconomic factors. influence students’ written free composition.
