The current study aims at recognizing some of the personal characteristics of the topping students in both Saudi Arabia and Egypt (for example: creativity, curiosity, perseverance, leading and the emotional characteristics). The study used the descriptive method on a sample of 152 secondary school topping students (78 Saudi students and 74 Egyptian students) and the average of their ages is 16.8 years. The study used two criteria: first, estimating the personal characteristics of them and second, their way of solving problems. The results revealed the positive and significant relation between the personal characteristics and the ability to solve problems. Moreover, there were significant differences between the Saudi and Egyptian topping students and they were explained.
