المستخلص: يعد التقويم النفسي والتربوي أحد المكونات الأساسية للمنظومة التعليمية لما يقدمه من تشخيص وعلاج وتغذية راجعة لتوجيه مسار العملية التعليمية وزيادة فعاليتها وتطويرها لتحقيق أهدافها وغاياتها، وذلك انطلاقاً من أن عمليات التقويم النفسي والتربوي تعد مدخلاً فعالاً لتطوير جميع عناصر المنظومة التعليمية من معلم ومتعلم وطرائق للتدريس ومقررات دراسية، وتمثل عمليات قياس أداء الطلاب ركيزة أساسية ومدخلاً بالنسبة للتقويم إذ دون عمليات القياس فإنه لا يمكن أن تتم عمليات التشخيص والعلاج وإصدار الحكم علي مستوي الأداء. وتتناول الورقة الحالية التوجهات المستقبلية للتقويم النفسي والتربوي وتطبيقاتها في مجال التربية، وذلك من خلال عرض للمصطلحات الرئيسية في القياس والتقويم وأهمها: الاختبار، والقياس، والتقييم، والتقويم. وأهم التوجهات المستقبلية في القياس والتقويم من خلال محورين الأول: أهم هذه التوجهات وتتلخص في: التقويم الموضوعي ويشمل بنوك الأسئلة، ونظرية السمات الكامنة، والتقويم البديل ويشمل تقويم الأداء، وحقائب التقويم، والتقويم متعدد القياسات. أما المحور الثاني: فيشمل تطبيقات التوجهات المستقبلية للتقويم النفسي والتربوي في مجال التربية الخاصة وأهمها: التقويم المبرمج آلياً، والتقويم المصور، وبنوك الأسئلة، وحقائب التقويم، واستخدام التقويم البديل. وأخيراً مجموعة من التوصيات والمقترحات حول كيفية الاستفادة من هذه التوجهات في مجال التربية الخاصة.
