هدفت الدراسة إلى تحديد الشروط المقترح توفرها في المدرسة الثانوية الفاعلة بمجتمع المعرفة من خلال لوقوف على المشكلات التي تعاني منها المدارس الثانوية بالمملكة العربية السعودية والتي قد تقف عائقا في سبيل فاعلية المدرسة في مجتمع المعرفة، وكذلك التعرف على أبرز التجارب العالمية في مجال المدرسة الفاعلة بمجتمع المعرفة. وقد استخدم الباحث المنهج الوصفي الوثائقي لتحديد أبرز المشكلات التي تعاني منها المدارس الثانوية العامة بالمملكة العربية السعودية، وكذلك للتعرف على أهم التجارب العالمية في مجال المدرسة الفاعلة في مجتمع المعرفة. كما استخدم المنهج الوصفي المسحي لتحديد شروط المدرسة الثانوية الفاعلة في مجتمع المعرفة. وقد تكوّن مجتمع الدراسة من جميع مديري المدارس الثانوية الحكومية والأهلية بمدينة الرياض وعددهم (209) مديراً وقد استخدم الباحث الاستبانه أداة رئيسة لجمع المعلومات من الميدان، حيث قام بتصميم استبانه مستفيداً من الدراسات السابقة والإطار النظري لهذه الدراسة، وقد طبقت الأداة على جميع أفراد مجتمع الدراسة، وقد توصلت الدراسة إلى نتائج من أبرزها: معاناة المدرسة الثانوية في المملكة العربية السعودية من عدد من المشكلات .التي قد تحد من فاعليتها في مجتمع المعرفة، ومن أبرز هذه المشكلات عدم وجود رؤية محددة للتعليم، قصور التعليم الثانوي عن تحقيق أهدافه، يغلب على إدارة المدارس الثانوية الطابع الإداري البيروقراطي، عدم وجود آلية لقياس ناتج التعليم........، كما توصلت إلى تحديد الشروط المقترح توفرها في المدرسة الثانوية الفاعلة في مجتمع المعرفة ومنها أن يكون للمدرسة رؤية واضحة ورسالة تسعى من خلالها لتحقيق هذه الرؤية، أن تتضمن أهداف المدرسة الحفاظ على الهوية الدينية والوطنية، توظيف التقنية الحديثة في التعليم، مواكبة احتياجات مجتمع المعرفة..........، أن تتسم الإدارة المدرسية بدعم خطط الإصلاح وتطوير المدرسة ومتابعة التنفيذ. وقد أوصت الدراسة بعدد من التوصيات منها: علاج المشكلات التي تعاني منها المدرسة الثانوية، خاصة المشكلات التي تحد من فاعلية المدرسة في مجتمع المعرفة، الاستفادة من التجارب العالمية في مجال المدرسة الفاعلة، لزيادة فاعلية المدرسة الثانوية السعودية في مجتمع المعرفة، تبني رؤية واضحة ومحددة للمدرسة الثانوية بالمملكة العربية السعودية، وتكون هذه الرؤية معلنة ومعروفة لدى جميع العاملين. بالمدرسة وأولياء الأمور وكذلك الطلاب، إعادة النظر في أهداف المدرسة الثانوية وفق متطلبات مجتمع المعرفة.

The researcher used the descriptive documentary to identify the major problems faced by public secondary schools in Saudi Arabia, as well as to identify the most important international experience in the field of school actors in the knowledge society, also used the descriptive survey to determine the conditions of the high school players in the knowledge society, may be The study population of all managers of State secondary schools and community in Riyadh and the number (209) Director The researcher used the questionnaire as the Chairperson of the collection of information from the field, where he designed a questionnaire, taking advantage of previous studies and theoretical framework for this study, has applied the tool on all members of the community study, has The study results, notably: The suffering of the secondary school in Saudi Arabia from a number of problems that may limit their effectiveness in the knowledge society and most prominent of these problems, the absence of a specific vision of education, lack of secondary education to achieve its objectives, mainly to manage the high school administrative nature bureaucracy, lack of a mechanism to measure the output of education......., also found to determine the conditions provided in the proposed high school players in the knowledge society, including schools that have a clear vision and mission which seeks to achieve this vision, the objectives include maintaining school on religious identity and national employment of modern technology in education, keep pace with the needs of the knowledge society......, that are supported by the school administration reform plans and school development andfollow-up implementation. The study recommended a number of recommendations, including: treatment of the problems experienced by high school - especially problems that limit the effectiveness of the school in the knowledge society, benefit from international experiences in the field of school actors, to increase the effectiveness of secondary school Saudi Arabia in the knowledge society, the adoption of a clear vision and specific school secondary school in Saudi Arabia, and this vision to be declared and known to all school staff and parents as well as students, to reconsider the objectives of secondary school according to the requirements of the knowledge society.
