هدفت الدراسة إلى التعرف على بعض مشكلات عينة من الطالبات المتفوقات دراسياً. والتوصل إلى ما إذا كانت هناك فروق ذات دلالة إحصائية بين متوسطات درجاتهن على مقياس أبعاد المشكلات: (الصحية، والانفعالية، والتعليمية، والاجتماعية، والأسرية، والترفيهية)، وكذلك التعرف على العلاقة بين المشكلات قيد الدراسة ومستوى التفوق الدراسي، وبعض المتغيرات الأسرية: (عدد الإخوة والأخوات، ترتيب الميلاد في الأسرة) للطالبات المتفوقات. وتكونت عينة الدراسة من (158) من الطالبات المتفوقات بجامعة الملك سعود، بمدينة الرياض، ممن تزيد معدلاتهنّ التراكمية الجامعية عن (3.75) منهن (32) متزوجة، و(126) طالبة غير متزوجة، وكان متوسط أعمارهنّ (21.4) سنة، وقد تم استخدم مقياس للمشكلات من إعداد الباحثة، وقد أظهرت النتائج الآتي: 1- وجود فروق دالة إحصائياً بين متوسطات درجات استجابات الطالبات المتفوقات للمشكلات قيد الدراسة: (التعليمية، والانفعالية، والترفيهية، والصحية، والاجتماعية، والأسرية). 2- وجود فروق دالة إحصائياً بين متوسطات درجات استجابات الطالبات المتفوقات للمشكلات التعليمية تبعاً للحالة الاجتماعية: (متزوجة، غير متزوجة)، وذلك لصالح الطالبات المتزوجات من المتفوقات. 3- وجود علاقة ارتباطية دالة موجبة بين درجات استجابات الطالبات المتفوقات للمشكلات الترفيهية ومستوى التفوق الدراسي. 4- وجود علاقة ارتباطية دالة سالبة بين درجات استجابات الطالبات المتفوقات للمشكلات التعليمية وعدد الأخوات في الأسرة. 5- وجود علاقة ارتباطية دالة موجبة بين درجات استجابات الطالبات المتفوقات للمشكلات الأسرية وترتيب ميلادهن في الأسرة، فالطالبات المتفوقات الأصغر سناً في الأسرة كنّ أكثر عرضة للمشكلات مقارنة بالأكبر سناً. وقد أوصت الباحثة بالاهتمام بالخبرات التعليمية للطالبات المتفوقات، ودراسة الوضع الحالي للتعليم الجامعي، ومراجعة الخطط لبرامج الطلبة المتفوقين، وتكثيف المنح البحثية المتعلقة بالمتفوقين وبرامجهم، وتحقيق التبادل المعرفي مع الجامعات العالمية؛ وذلك لإفادة أعضاء هيئة التدريس فيما يتعلق ببرامج المتفوقين وتعليمهم. تأسيس مركز خدمات إرشادية وقائية وعلاجية للطالبات المتفوقات بالجامعة، يكون خاضعاً لنظام موحد، يساهم فيه فريق متخصص من: الأطباء، والأطباء النفسيين، والأخصائيين النفسيين، والأخصائيين الاجتماعيين. وإيجاد المراكز والنوادي الرياضية، وتسجيل الطالبات ساعات محددة ضمن سجلها الأكاديمي للقيام بالأنشطة، وممارسة هواياتهن من خلال إقامة المباريات التنافسية في الشعر، والأدب، والفنون، وبين الفرق الرياضية النسائية داخل الجامعة وخارجها، وفق القيم والضوابط الدينية، مما سيساهم بتحسين الحالة المزاجية والانفعالية والصحية للطالبات المتفوقات. وكذلك الاهتمام ببرامج العمل الاجتماعي التطوعي خارج الجامعة، واحتساب ساعاته من ضمن متطلبات التخرج للطالبات؛ وذلك لما له من أثر إيجابي على صقل شخصياتهن وزيادة الخبرة لديهن. بالإضافة إلى حث الباحثين والمتخصصين للقيام بمزيد من الدراسات لمشكلات المتفوقين بالجامعات السعودية، والتعرف على الخدمات المقدمة لهم، ومقارنتها بالخدمات المقدمة من الجامعات العربية والأجنبية.
This study aims to identify some of the problems among sample of talented students (high academic achievers) in the Riyadh campus of King Saud University. The study investigates whether there are statistical significant differences between the responses of students with high academic achievement on the dimension scale of six problems (health, emotion, education, social, family and leisure.) One of the objectives is to determine whether there are significant differences between the existing problems within the study according to the marital status of the student with a high academic achievement. Another goal of this study is to identify the relationship between the study problems and the level of academic achievement of the students, the number of siblings, and the birth order in the family. The sample consisted of 158 female undergraduate students who are high academic achievers, and have more than 3.75 Cumulative GPA. Thirty two of them are married and one hundred twenty six are unmarried, with an average age of 21.4 years old. The results showed the following: 1. There are statistically significant differences between the average scores of high-achieving students on the problems studied (educational, emotional, recreational, health, social and family life.) Educational problems coming in first, followed by emotional problems and then leisure (entertainment), and family problems ranked last among female talented students at King Saud University. 2. There are statistically significant differences between the means of talented student's scores on educational problems regarding the social status (married\unmarried) to the benefit of high-achieving students who are married. 3. A positive correlation exists between the leisure problems (recreation) scores of high-achieving students’ and their level of academic excellence. 4. There is a negative correlation between the education problem scores of talented students and the number of female sisters in the family. 5. There is a positive correlation between the problem scores of talented students and their birth order in the family. The researcher recommended offering attention to educational xperiences for talented students at university level since educational problems ranked first compared to the rest of the problems in the study. The researcher recommends setting up counseling services at the university for helping establish direction and guidance for high-achieving students, and to find out their needs, including health, psychological, cognitive, social development and therapy sessions for students who suffer from certain problems and the prevention of these problems for those who do not exhibit them. The researcher also recommends establishing centers and recreational clubs at the University for high-achieving students, and urges them to participate in leisurely matters, recreation, hobbies and exercise and to meet acquaintances who are intellectually compatible. The researcher also urges researchers and practitioners to perform more studies on outstanding students’ problems at King Saud University and to identify the services offered to them.
