يعد موضوع المواطنة من الموضوعات التي تفرض نفسها بقوة على ساحة البحث العلمي خاصة عند معالجة أي من أبعاد التنمية البشرية بهدف التطوير الشامل للإنسان بصفة عامة، ومما زاد من الاهتمام عناية المفكرين والعاملين في الحقل التربوي من حركة نشطة في مجال تربية المواطنة في ضوء المتغيرات والاتجاهات المعاصرة المتسارعة لما لها من أهمية كبرى كونها تهدف إلى توفير الاستقرار والرفاهية لأفراد المجتمع من خلال تحقيق الأمن الوطني والاجتماعي لهم، وقد تم وضع نماذج لبعض الدول في تربية وتنمية المواطنة. \ \ ومن أبرز أهداف هذا البحث الوقوف على دور الجامعة في تنمية قيم المواطنة لدى طلابها، واستخدمت الإستبانة كأداة لجمع البيانات لعينة ممثلة من طلاب كليتي التربية والعلوم كونهما ممثلين لطلاب المجال الإنساني والتطبيقي، وتضمنت الإستبانة أربعة محاور أساسية: دور الإدارة الجامعية في تنمية قيم المواطنة والمناهج الدراسية والأستاذ الجامعي ثم الأنشطة الطلابية، إضافة إلى البيانات الأولية. \ \ وتوصلت الدراسة إلى وصف كامل لكل محاور الدراسة ودورها ومصادر القوة والضعف لكل منها ونسبة تأثيرها على تنمية قيم المواطنة لدى طلاب الجامعة ثم انتهت إلى وضع تصور مقترح لدور الجامعة (محاور الدراسة) والدور الذي ينبغي عليها القيام به في تنمية قيم المواطنة لدى طلابها في ضوء متغيرات العصر لإعلاء هذه القيم وتشكيل اتجاهاتهم الاجتماعية والثقافية وكذا السياسية من خلال تصحيح المعتقدات والمفاهيم والتي تصل بنا إلى تأصيل قيم المواطنة. \
The University Role in Developing Citizenship Values among its Students in the light of Some Contemporary Variables (Taif University as a Model) \ Citizenship is considered one of the topics that imposes itself strongly on the scientific research field, especially when dealing with any dimension of human development with the aim of making comprehensive developments of the human being in general. And what made this topic very important was the increase of interest of the intellectuals and workers in the educational field and the active movement in the area of citizenship education in the light of the contemporary changes and trends as it aims at providing stability and welfare to the society through achieving national and social security and some of the models of some countries in developing citizenship were included. \ One of the main objectives of this researchwas identifying the role of the university in developing citizenship values of its students. The questionnaire was used to collect data from a sample of students from both the faculty of education and the faculty of sciences. The questionnaire consisted of four main categories: the role of the university administration, curricula, faculty members and students activities in developing the values of citizenship. \ The study put a full description of all the categories, its roles, the sources of strength and weaknesses and the proportion of its impact on developing the citizenship values of the university students and finally put a proposed prospective of the university role in developing citizenship values of its students in the light of the contemporary changes and variables to lift up these values and form their social, cultural and political attitudes by means of the correction of their beliefs and \ concepts. \
