جاء البحث الحالي لإيجاد طريقة أو استراتيجية تدعم عملية التعلم المنظم ذاتياً، لضمان أن تكون منظمة وموجهة وتساعد علي عدم إهدار الوقت والجهد والبحث والتقصي عن مصادر المعلومات عبر شبكة الإنترنت وتساعدهم في الوصول إلي المعلومات المرتبطة بموضوع بحثهم والتعامل معها بما يحقق التعلم المنظم ذاتيا. وتسهم الدراسة الحالية في تهيئة بيئات تعليمية لطلاب الدراسات العليا تخصص تكنولوجيا التعليم ؛ لتساعدهم علي البحث و الإستكشاف ووضع إستراتيجية عبر الويب تمكنهم من إجراء عمليات البحث عن المعلومات المرتبطة بموضوعات تعلمهم ، وتحسين مهارات التعلم المنظم ذاتياً لدي الطلاب، وتساعدهم علي الاستخدام الأمثل للإنترنت بصورة مقننة وموجهة من خلال ما تتيحه لهم من معلومات،كما تمكن المعلمين في تصميم وتنفيذ إستراتيجية تقصي الويب للمقررات الدراسية التي يقومون بتدريسها، إلي جانب توظيف الإمكانات التي أتاحتها تكنولوجيا الإتصالات ودمجها في التعليم لتجويده، والوصول إلي تعلم إيجابي متميز، وتوجيه نظر المهتمين والقائمين علي التعليم الجامعي إلي أهمية التعلم المتمركز حول المتعلم وجعله محور العملية التعليمية من خلال إستراتيجية مهام الويب. وتوصلت نتائج الدراسة الحالية إلي أن أنماط التوجيه المباشرة وغير المباشرة معا تعزز100% من استراتيجيات التعلم المنظم ذاتياً، وأن أنماط التوجيه المباشرة تعزز85.7% من استراتيجيات التعلم المنظم ذاتياً، وذلك لأن أنماط التوجيه المباشر، وانماط والتوجيه المباشر وغير مباشر معا بمهام الويب أتاحت للمتعلم فرصة التعمق وفهم الموضوعات مجال البحث بطريقة أشمل؛ ليصبح دوره رحاله مستكشفا من خلال توجيهه نحو التعلم المنظم ذاتياً ومهارة البحث علي شبكة الانترنت بشكل منتج؛ وتحمله لمسئولية تعلمه، بالإضافة إلي تعزيز البحث عن المعلومات من خلال الإبحار عبر مواقع الإنترنت لتأخذ المتعلم مباشرة إلي المعلومات التي يحتاجها لإنجاز المهمة أو حل المشكلة بحيث تكون في شكل نتاجات للتعلم يمكن أن تظهر في صورة سلوك علمي حقيقي له.
