Moral Development and emotional stability represent the most important aspects of human growth that affect the individual demeanor. The standard moral thought is connected to the nature of the mental illustrations that are socially accepted or rejected and the emotional stability is connected to the 'nature of controlling emotions in different situations. •Moreover, the emotional stability helps the students do their mental functions in an organized way and this would• help them be more able to work, think, do activities and be more acceptable and successful among others. During the work of the researcher as a social researcher in high schools, she found that the students suffer from the problem of compatibility and stability in controlling their emotions and most of the time they fall into troubles with their friends or their teachers. The students of high schools are in a complicated age and in need of a special care and a particular way of dealing with them; therefore, it is necessary to help and direct them, especially this phase is considered as a preliminary step towards the life of university stages. Moreover, it is the starting point of adults' life. It is important to become acquainted with the factors that hamper the emotional development which might often be emotional and academic factors and attempt to find the successful solutions for it in order to help the student reach the emotional stability and adapt to the environment in which he/she lives. The importance of this research lies in showing -up moral development and its relevance to emotional stability in high school students of both sexes who are considered an important - social and educational faction in the growth of the society. The most important thing of this research in conformity with the researcher's knowledge is that there is no similar study which has been done in the region looking at the relationship between moral development and emotional stability of a group in this age.
