تعد المهارات اللغوية لدى الطفل ذات أهمية لا تنكر في زيادة معرفته، وبالتالي فمن الضروري اكساب الطفل القدر الأكبر من المهارات والكلمات والألفاظ والتعبيرات التي تساعد على نمو محصوله اللغوي: \\ على جانب آخر أوضحت الكتابات التربوية، مدى كفاءة القصة وفاعليتها في عمليتي التعليم والتعلم، وأهميتها في تنمية المهارات اللغوية، وتعلم الكلام، حيث تعد القصة من أقوه عوامل الاستثارة في حياة الإنسان، وأن حب الأطفال للقصص والحكايات أمر شائع ومعروف. \\ \\\ وفي جانب ثالث فإن تنمية التفكير الابتكاري عند طفل ما قبل المدرسة يعد ذات أهمية قصوى، وإن تضاريت آراء علماء النفس في علاقة العمر بالتفكير الابتكاري، ما بين حدوث قمة مبكرة للأداء الابتكاري في مرحلة الطفولة المبكرة يتلوها انخفاض مستمر بعد ذلك. \\ لذلك هدفت هذه الدراسة إلى التعرف على أثر المدخل القصصي في تنمية المهارات اللغوية لدي أطفال ما قبل المدرسة، وأثر ذلك كله على تنمية التفكير الابتكاري لديهم، وذلك باستخدام المنهج شبه التجريبي، والاستعانة بمقياس لقياس المهارات اللغوية اللازمة لأطفال ما قبل المدرسة (من إعداد الباحثة)، وكذلك مقياس لقياس التفكير الابتكاري لدى أطفال ما قبل المدرسة (لبول تورانس)، هذا بجانب البرنامج الذي يعتمد على المدخل القصصي. \\ وفي ختام البحث اقترحت الباحثة إجراءات يمكن من خلالها تنمية التفكير الابتكاري من خلال تنمية المهارات اللغوية باستخدام المدخل القصصي.
