|a هدفت الدراسة إلى التعرف على عناصر دراسات المستفيدين وفئاتها وأسباب غيابها في المكتبات الجامعية السودانية، والصعوبات التي تعترض أمناء المكتبات في عدم إجراءها واستخدمت الدراسة المنهج التاريخي ومنهج دراسة الحالة. \ تمثلت أبرز نتائج الدراسة في أن عناصر دراسات المستفيد هي المستفيدين وفئاتهم واحتياجاتهم للمعلومات ودوافعهم للحصول عليها والعوامل المؤثرة في استخدامهم لأوعية المعلومات، فضلًا عن أن تخطيط خدمات المستفيدين دون إشراكهم وغياب دراسات التقييم في المكتبات واعتماد بعض المستفيدين على قنوات أخرى للحصول على المعلومات كانت أبرز أسباب غياب وصعوبات إجراء دراسات المستفيدين. \ وقد أوصت الدراسة بإشراك المستفيدين عند القيام بتخطيط خدمات المستفيدين، واهتمام المكتبات الجامعية بدراسات التقييم وتدريب المستفيدين. \
|b This study aims at identifying the elements of user’s studies. And \ its categories, and the reasons behind their absence from the Sudanese university libraries, and also the difficulties challenging the librarians who conduct the study. \ The Researcher used the historical method and the methodology of the case study. \ The important result of the study is that the elements of the user studies is users , their categories , needs for information, their motives for, seeking information behaviour , and the factors influencing their use of information sources as well as that the planning of users services without their involvement, in addition to the lack of evaluation studies in the libraries , and the dependency of some users on other sources to obtain information, were the main reasons behind the lack and the difficulties of conducting users studies \ Finally, the study Recommended the involvement and participation of users during planning of users services. Moreover the university libraries should focus on the evaluation and training of users. \ \
