This study measured the job satisfactions of the staff in the Sudanese Universities. It was found in general that the staff members lack job satisfaction; the main factor that affects job satisfactions are: The nature of the job, salary, job safety, relationships with peers, work environment, relationship with superiors, and work hours. It was also found that the staff members have low job satisfaction with participation in decision making, nature of the job, salary, health safety. Yet they have a low satisfaction levels with job safety, work environment and research incentives. The job satisfaction of the whole members of the study was found to be a moderate level job satisfaction.
