المستخلص: Computer- assisted instruction CAI is a main method or strategy that incorporates many functions effectively for various individuals. It provides practical instruction to people with disabilities so as to develop their skills. The study aimed at enhancing the level of motor balance in children with intellectual disabilities via developing a CAI training program in the field of physical education following two CAI formats, i.e. presentation, and drill- and- practice, and examining the effectiveness of such a program on fulfilling its main objectives. Participants were 20, 11- 12 year- old- children with mild intellectual disability. They were divided into two equal and matched groups, i.e. experimental and control groups. Experimental method was used, and two tests for dynamic and static motor balance were administered in addition to the CAI program for motor activities. Results revealed the effectiveness of the CAI program used on enhancing the level of motor balance in children with mild intellectual disability. It was concluded that CAI programs in any format could play an important role in the lives of people with intellectual disabilities especially in skill progress domain.
