E-learning has become an essential component in most educational systems. Accordingly, exploring students’ perception of the learning gains of E- learning environments is currently one of the research trends. This study was conducted to investigate the learning gains of E-learning environments as perceived by Qatari middle and high school students in terms of their academic achievement, communication, thinking, and information skills. A questionnaire was designed to be an indirect measure of learning gains of E-learning environments; it was administered electronically to a sample consisting of middle and high independent school students. The results revealed that there were some significant differences between the mean scores of middle and high school students as to their perception regarding learning gains related to academic achievement, communication skills, and thinking skills in favor of middle school students.
