This study aims to explore the trend of Saudi banks in training the staff, in terms of their preference for training methods if it was on-the-job training, or off-the-job training. The study was conducted on a sample consisting of 6 HR employees in three of the banks operating in Riyadh city. Qualitative data were collected through personal interviews with the sample members. The researcher analyzed the respondents' opinions thematically, by changing the interview questions into themes. The main finding showed that the on-the-job training method is most likely to be used by Saudi banks.
