هدفت الدراسة لبيان العلاقة بين الأسباب النفسية والجسدية، لدى طلبة الجامعة، وكذلك العلاقة بين الأسباب الشخصية الذاتية، ونوع العنف المرتكب (ماديا أو معنويا)، ومعرفة الفروق ذات الدلالة الإحصائية لمتغير الجنس، والأسباب النفسية والجسدية المحفزة للعنف.\ وتكون مجتمع الدراسة من طلبة البكالوريوس في جميع التخصصات المطروحة في كلية الأميرة رحمة الجامعية- جامعة البلقاء التطبيقية للعام 2013/ 2014 والبالغ عددهم (719) طالبا وطالبة. ولجمع تم المعلومات استعانت الباحثة بأداة مطورة مكونة من (19) فقرة من دراسة (علا علي الختاتنة) 2007، جامعة مؤتة. ووزعت في المجال الشخصي، وقد تم اختيار عينة الدراسة من مجتمع الدراسة، والتي بينت أن الأسباب النفسية والجسدية لها تأثير كبير على حدوث العنف بنسبة (662 مقابل 57) وأن العنف المادي أكثر من العنف المعنوي أي بنسبة (%52.1 مقابل %47.9)، وأن الأسباب الفردية لها تأثير كبير في حدوث العنف بواقع (652 مقابل 67)، وأن الذكور يتأثرون أكثر من الإناث بنسبة حدوث (%62.8 مقابل 37.2%)، وأنه لا توجد دلالة إحصائية للتأثير الأسباب الفردية المحفزة للعنف وعامل الجنس.\ وأوصت الدراسة بضرورة منح الطالب درجة عالية من الثقة بالنفس من قبل الوالدين ثم المؤسسة التعليمية، وتنشيط التوعية الضابطة في الجامعة وإجراء المزيد من البحوث في مجال العنف وتفسيره.\
The Students’ Human Characteristics that motivate Violence.\ This study aimed at identifying the relationship between the psychological and physical reasons causing violence , and the kind of violence committed (physical or emotional), and to acknowledge the differences of significance level for the variables of sex and the psychological and physical factors that motivate violence..\ The study population was comprised of (719) students of bachelor degree, majoring in all specializations taught at princess Rahme University College Balqa'a Applied University for the year 2013/2014. and their number is (719).\ To collect data, the researcher used a developed tool that included (19 items from the study of (Ola Ali Alkhatatneh)2007/Mu'ta University, which were distributed personally, and the study population has demonstrated that the psychological and physical factors had a great impact on violence occurring»(662) to (57), and the physical violence was greater than the emotional violence, with the percentage of (52,1% to 47,9%), and that the strongest individual factors that motivate violence were the individual reasons (652to 67), and the greatest violence is the physical one 53%and that the physical and psychological had a big effect, and that males are. affected more than females with the percentages of (62,8% to 37,2%) without a significance level, and that the relationship between the individual factors motivating violence and sex factor. It was indicated that these reasons (the individual and sex were in percentage (61,8%to 38,2%).\ The study recommended that it is necessary for parents to offer the students a high degree of self confidence , and to activate controlled awareness at University and conducting more pieces of research in the scope of violence and it's identification. And being fair was also recommended in applying the general rules among Universities.\
