المستخلص: Most research on organizational commitment has focused on Caucasian male employees with little emphasis on female workers so, to the best of our knowledge, this research will be the first effort to investigate female employees in Saudi government sectors. This work is therefore felt to be significant in contributing to the study of organizational commitment and performance. The major aim of this paper is to examine, through questionnaires distributed to 300 female employees in educational institutions, the level of commitment to their organization of the teachers in girls' schools and institutions in Saudi Arabia, and the effect of their commitment on their performance.
