يعمل مسرح الطفل من خلال الموضوعات المقدمة كمقياس للذكاء اذ يمكن ملاحظة قدرة الطفل على التعامل مع الرموز الموجودة على المسرح وكذلك قياس القدرة الحسابية لدية من خلال نوع النصوص المقدمة ومعرفة قدرته على اكتساب المفردات واستعادتها وملاحظتها في أتباع التعليمات المعطاة من خلال النصوص المسرحية، ويمكن له التعامل عبر الذكاءات الاتية : 1- الذكاء المجرد : ويتمثل في القدرة على التعامل مع الاشياء المجردة كالمعاني والرموز والأفكار والمفاهيم والعلاقات الرياضية . 2- الذكاء الميكانيكي : ويتمثل بالقدرة على التعامل مع الاشياء المادية واداء المهمات والمهارات الحركية . 3- الذكاء الاجتماعي : ويتمثل في القدرة على التواصل مع الاخرين , وفي عمليات الاجتماعي وتشكيل العلاقات والصداقات ." ان الانواع الثلاث تتحقق من خلال مواظبة الطفل على مشاهدة الأعمال المسرحية وقراءة النصوص المسرحية , لانها تساعده بشكل جيد على التعامل مع الرموز والافكار ومعرفة المفاهيم التربوية والتعليمية , كذالك تمنحه مهارات حركية تجعله يتواصل مع المجتمع ، وبالتالي تسنح له الفرصة في ايجاد مخرج للانطوائية التي هي عليه
