المستخلص: تعد مهنة التعليم من المهن بالغة الأهمية من حيث أنها تتكفل بإعداد أجيال المستقبل، ويعتبر المعلم حجر الزاوية في نجاح العملية التربوية وفي تحقيق أغراضها وبلوغ غاياتها.
لذلك كان من الأهمية تكوين الطالب المعلم تكوينا تربويا ومهنيا يمكنه من القيام بمهنة التدريس والتعليم، هذا التكوين يجب أن يكون شاملا ولا يقتصر على الجانب المعرفي فقط، بل يتعداه إلى اكسابهم الاتجاهات والميول نحو مهنة التدريس.
من هنا جاءت هذه الدراسة والتي نطمح من خلالها إلى معرفة اتجاهات الطلبة المعلمين نحو مهنة التدريس.
لهذا الغرض تم إعداد مقياس الاتجاه نحو مهنة التدريس ثلاثي الأبعاد، يتكون من ثلاثين عبارة نصفها يحمل اتجاها إيجابيا والنصف الآخر يحمل اتجاها سلبيا. وبعد التحقق من صدقه وثباته تم تطبيقه على عينة بلغ عددها أربعين (40) طالبا وطالبة، وبعد استعمال الأساليب الإحصائية المناسبة، أسفرت النتائج عن:
• عدم وجود اتجاهات إيجابية نحو مهنة التدريس لدى الطلبة المعلمين.
• هناك فروق ذات دلالة إحصائية في اتجاهات الطلبة نحو مهنة التدريس تبعا لمتغير الجنس لصالح الطالبات.


The teaching profession is considered to be from the professions of great importance as it is entrusted with the preparation of future generations and the teacher is regarded to be the cornerstone in respect to the success of the educational process and the accomplishment of its objectives and fulfilling its aims.
As such, it is important to shape the trainee teacher in an educational and professional manner that enables him to undertake the profession of teaching. This shaping must be comprehensive and not restricted to the knowledge aspect alone, but rather must extend to making them acquire the correct attitudes and inclinations towards the teaching profession.
This study came upon this basis and aspires to attain knowledge regarding the attitudes of student or trainee teachers towards the teaching profession.
For this purpose, a three-dimensional attitude measure towards the teaching profession was prepared and it consists of 30 statements, half of which carry a positive attitude and the other half a negative attitude. After verifying its reliability and consistency it was applied upon a sample of 40 male and female students and after utilizing the appropriate statistical approaches, the following conclusions were arrived at:
• The non-existence of positive attitudes towards the teaching profession among student teachers.
• There are differences substantiated statistically in respect to the attitudes of students towards the teaching profession in accordance to the gender variable, to the advantage of the females.
