The purpose of the study is to investigate the relationship between parenting style and the academic achievement of female elementary school children in Saudi Arabia Material & Method: The sample consisted of 224 female students and their mothers, selected from five different schools which covered a wide range of socio-demographic levels. The students were from forth , fifth and six grade, age between 10 and 12. We used the parental style scale which was distributed to the mothers of each students. And we looked at the student’s academic achievement from the record of the class teacher. Result We find that the authoritative parenting style was positively related to the student’s academic achievement and the authoritarian and permissive parenting styles were negatively related to the students' academic achievement among female Saudi Arabian elementary school students. Conclusion: parental style is strongly correlate to children academic achievements. \
