كشف البحث عن دور التعليم الجامعي في دعم وتنميه قيم المواطنة في دوله الكويت. وتناول البحث مفهوم المعاصر للمواطنة وشروط تحققها وخصائصها. والتربية من أجل المواطنة. وأهمية المواطنة للمجتمع الكويتي. وناقش المقومات اللازمة للمواطنة في دولة الكويت. وان هذه المقومات تمثل عملا إجرائيا عند تحقيقها. وركز على ضآلة ما يبذل من جهد في اتجاه تنمية مشاعر المواطنة والانتماء لدى الطلاب. ولا يزيد الجهد المبذول عن تدريس بعض المقررات ذات الصلة بتنمية المواطنة. وسلط الضوء على تاريخ الشعوب ونضال البشر لنيل الحرية والمواطنة السليمة. وأبرز الانتكاسات التي ضاع من ورائها الإنسان. ووضح الممارسات الجامعية وقيم المواطنة فقد اجتهد الباحث في رصد المناخ الجامعي. وعلاقة أعضاء هيئة التدريس بالطلب. والوقوف على ما تعانيه جامعة الكويت من غياب كبير للحريات الأكاديمية. والممارسات الديمقراطية ويسيطر على الجو الجامعي رائحة العنصرية والطائفية والطفولة السياسية. وأشارت نتائج البحث أن القيم التي استخلصها التحليل منبثه في ثنايا المقرر وهذا يجعلها كلمات صماء. لا يستطيع الطالب تجسيدها في مواقف حياته الحقيقية. مما جعل هذا المقرر مقررا أكاديميا شأنه شأن المقررات الأخرى. كُتب هذا المستخلص من قِبل دار المنظومة 2018
The research revealed the role of university education in supporting and developing the values of citizenship in the State of Kuwait. The research dealt with the contemporary concept of citizenship, the conditions of its realization, and its characteristics. As well as the education for the citizenship, and the importance of citizenship to Kuwaiti society. The research also discussed the necessary elements of citizenship in the State of Kuwait, and that these elements represent a procedural action when they are achieved. The research focused on the little effort that was made to develop the feelings of citizenship and belonging among the students. It was explained that such efforts are not more than teaching of some curriculum, which is related to the citizenship development. The research highlighted the history and the struggle of people to obtain the freedom and the good citizenship. The research demonstrated the setbacks that led to human loss, also it clarifies the university practices and the values of citizenship. The researcher worked hard to monitor the environment of the university, and the relationship of faculty members to the request. In addition to explaining the suffering of Kuwait University because of the great absence of academic freedoms, democratic practices, and the surrounding of the university is dominated by the cases of racism, sectarianism, and political childhood. The results of the research indicated that the values derived from the analysis, emanate in the course and this makes them meaningless words, which the student cannot embody in his real life situations, making this decision an academic decision like other decisions.
