Despite the severe neglect and dereliction from Arabic native speakers, but the popularity of the Arabic language is increasing day after day steadily and rapidly, though there are many reasons and purposes for this growing demand. Muslim non-Arabic speaking peoples are tending towards learning Arabic for the purpose of understanding Islamic sciences and to practice religious rites and rituals. While non-Muslims are interested in Arabic language study to analyze the prevailing culture, and understand concepts that constitute the contemporary Arabic mentality and influence trends, and to learn the behavioral patterns of the Arab peoples, which contributes significantly in appropriate decision-making at the decision-makers in Western circles. Orientalism has played - and continues to - a role that serves the colonial ambitions, led by erasing the identity of the nation. |
