المستخلص: استهدفت الدراسة الكشف عن فاعلية الذات وعلاقتها بمعني الحياة لدى طلاب الدبلومات التربوية في جامعة نجران. من خلال التحقق من الفروق بين طلاب الدبلومات التربوية على مقياسي فاعلية الذات ومعنى الحياة. واستخدمت الدراسة المنهج الوصفي. وتكونت مجموعة الدراسة من 100 طالب من الذكور الملتحقين ببرامج الدبلومات التربوية في جامعة نجران. وتمثلت أدوات الدراسة في مقياسي فاعلية الذات ومعنى الحياة. ومن النتائج التي توصلت اليها الدراسة وجود علاقة ارتباطية موجبة بين الفاعلية الذاتية وبين أبعاد مقياس الحياة. وفسرت ذلك إلى أن الأفراد ذوي الفاعلية الذاتية العالية يخبرون معاني إيجابية للحياة نظير امتلاكهم القدرات الذاتية التي تمكنهم من تحقيق النجاح في أداء المهام المطلوبة منهم خلال المواقف التي يواجهونها. وهذا التمكن يؤدي بهم إلى الإحساس بمعنى الحياة. وأوصت الدراسة بضرورة حث المسؤولين في التربية والتعليم على تصميم البرامج التي تسهم في الرفع من مستوى الفاعلية الذاتية للمعلمين والمعلمات خاصة لمن أمضوا أكثر من عشر سنوات في العمل التعليمي. والعمل على تنفيذ البرامج والدورات التي تنمي الخبرات المهنية والشخصية. والتي بدورها تساعد على رفع مستوى الفاعلية الذاتية للمعلمين والمعلمات. والاهتمام بتنمية المفاهيم التي تساعد على سيادة المشاعر الإيجابية لمعنى الحياة لدى غير المتزوجين. وإثراء الجوانب العلمية والمهنية لدى المعلمين من ذوي الخبرات المبكرة والمتوسطة بما يعزز من الشعور بمعاني إيجابية في الحياة. تساعد على إدراك المعلمين من تلك الفئة أهمية الأدوار التي يؤدونها.

The study aimed to uncover the self- efficacy and its relation to the meaning of life among students of educational diplomas at Najran University by checking the differences between the students of educational diplomas on the scale of self-efficacy and life meaning. The study used the descriptive approach. The study group consisted of 100 male students enrolled in educational diploma programs at Najran University. The tools of the study were the scales of self-efficacy and life meaning. One of the findings of the study is that there is a positive correlation between self-efficacy and the dimensions of the life scale. This was explained that the individuals with high self-efficacy have positive meanings of life because they have the self-capacities that enables them to succeed in performing the tasks required of them through the situations they face and these capacities enables them to sense the meaning of life. The study recommended the need to urge officials in education to design programs that contribute to raising the level of self-efficacy of male and female teachers, especially those who have spent more than ten years in the educational work. In addition, they should work on the implementation of programs and courses that develop professional and personal experiences, which in turn helps to raise the level of self-efficacy of teachers, as well as attaching importance to the development of concepts that help to rule the positive feelings of the meaning of life to unmarried teachers. Moreover, it recommended the need to urge officials to enrich the scientific and professional aspects of teachers with early and intermediate experiences to enhance the sense of positive meanings in life that helps teachers of this category recognize the importance of the roles they perform..
