هدف البحث الحالي إلى "تطوير منهج الرياضيات بالمدرسة الثانوية التجاري في ضوء الاحتياجات المهنية للطلاب"، ولتحقيق هذا الهدف سار البحث في الإجراءات التالية: -تم إعداد قائمة بالاحتياجات المهنية اللازمة لطلاب الصف الأول الثانوي التجاري، وذلك من خلال مراجعة نتائج الدراسات والبحوث السابقة ذات الصلة بموضوع البحث، إجراء مقابلات مقننة مع معلمي المواد الفنية التجارية للتعرف على ما يحتاجونه من مفاهيم ومهارات رياضية لتدريس المواد التجارية، تحليل محتوى كتب المواد الفنية التجارية ذات الصلة بمادة الرياضيات والمقررة على طلاب المدرسة الثانوية التجارية، مراجعة الاتجاهات الحديثة في مجال الرياضيات، وشملت القائمة (10) مفاهيم رئيسة تفرع منها(83) مفهوم فرعي، و(10) مهارات رئيسة تفرع منها (58) مهارة فرعية . -تم تحليل محتوى منهج الرياضيات المقرر على طلاب الصف الأول الثانوي التجاري للكشف عن إيجابيات وسلبيات المنهج الحالي. -إعداد التصور المقترح لمنهج الرياضيات بالمدرسة الثانوية التجارية شعبة عامة يتضمن الاحتياجات المهنية اللازمة للطلاب واشتمل على (10) وحدات دراسية. -ولقياس فاعلية المنهج تم إعداد وحدتين من وحداته إعدادا تفصيليا وهما: وحدة "المعادلات" ووحدة" المصفوفات، وإعداد دليل المعلم الخاص بهما للاسترشاد به في التدريس. -بناء اختبار لقياس الجانب المعرفي واختبار لقياس الجانب الأدائي بالوحدتين. -تم تطبيق الوحدتين على مجموعة شملت (26) طالبة من طالبات الصف الأول الثانوي التجاري شعبة عامة بمدرسة حلوان الثانوية التجارية (إدارة حلوان التعليمية). -تم تطبيق الاختبار الخاص بقياس الجانب المعرفي والاختبار الخاص بقياس الجانب الأدائي قبل وبعد تدريس الوحدتين. -توصل البحث إلى: -وجود فرق دال إحصائيا عند مستوى 0.05 بين متوسطي درجات مجموعة البحث في الاختبار التحصيلي قبل وبعد تدريس وحدين من المنهج المقترح لصالح التطبيق البعدي، حيث بلغت قيمة (ت) المحسوبة (41,639). -وجود فرق دال إحصائيا عند مستوى 0.05 بين متوسطي درجات مجموعة البحث في اختبار المواقف الأدائية قبل وبعد تدريس وحدتين من المنهج المقترح لصالح التطبيق البعدي، حيث بلغت قيمة (ت) المحسوبة (97,078). واستخلاصا لما سبق يؤكد البحث على: -ضرورة تحقيق التكامل بين الرياضيات والمواد الفنية التجارية. -التنسيق بين معلمي الرياضيات والمواد الفنية التجارية للتعرف على ما تحتاجه المواد الفنية التجارية من مادة الرياضيات. -ضرورة أن تكون التطبيقات الرياضية من واقع الحياة التجارية. -دراسة المهن التي يلتحق بها خريجو المدرسة الثانوية التجارية للوقوف على متطلبات كل مهنة من الرياضيات.
