This study aimed at investigating the effectiveness of authentic educational videos in eliminating college EFL learners’ common errors at the sentence level of English Usage. A ready-made test was administered as a pretest to classify learners into three levels: elementary, intermediate and advanced. Accordingly, 96 participants were enrolled in six groups: three experimental groups and three control ones. Basing theoretically on the tenets of the ASSURE instructional design model, a separate authentic video Was produced and delivered via various ways to each level of the experimental groups. The same content was presented traditionally to the different levels of the control groups using the lecture method. After treatments, all groups were posttested; each on its level. Mann-Whitney U test and the t-test for independent samples were used to test the hypotheses. Besides, three structured interviews were held with the experimental group participants to elicit responses on the experience. Findings revealed that educational videos positively affected EFL learners’ English usage and decreased their common errors in sentences. Furthermore, a number of beneficial pedagogical and technical implications were included.
