|b The present study aims at investigating the self-regulated learning strategies which are necessary for the Yemeni student teachers according to the TEFL specialists' opinion. A questionnaire was distributed to 10 specialists in the field of TEFL. Results of the study showed that "goal setting strategies", "memorizing strategies", "self-evaluation strategies", "monitoring strategies" and "self-motivation strategies" proved to be the most necessary SRLS for the Yemeni student teachers. It was observed that "self-evaluation strategies" are the most necessary SRLS.
