المستخلص: The present research study aimed mainly to identify the effectiveness of the courses of field experiences in preparing the student teachers of art education at the Faculty of Education at King Saud University professionally in accordance with the National Council for Accreditation of Teacher Education's standards (NCATE) based on die students' perspectives. The study evaluated die effectiveness of two courses: first was Cl 346 - curricula and methods of teaching art education, and the second was Cl 466 - Education. In addition, die differences between the averages of the study sample's responses were calculated based on the gender and die supervisor of the field training. The study sample consisted of (35 male students) and (32 female students) who answered a questionnaire prepared to get answers for the study's questions. The results indicated the existence of an agreement between the members of the sample of the study on the effectiveness of die course (Cl 346) in preparing them to achieve the objectives of field experiences in general average (2.86). Inaddition the results indicated the existence of a strong agreement among the sample of the study on the effectiveness of the course (Cl 466) in preparing them to achieve field experience goals with an average of (3.28). The respondents' responses have varied about the effectiveness of die courses between the level of "do not agree" and "strongly agree". The study results showed statistically significant differences between die responses of die respondents about the effectiveness of the courses of field experiences in achieving their goals due to gender and the supervisor variables. Based on the study's results several recommendations have been reached.

هدف البحث الحالي بشكل رئيسي إلى التعرف علي مدى فاعلية مقررات الخبرة الميدانية في إعداد طلاب وطالبات التربية الفنية المعلمين بكلية التربية بجامعة الملك سعود مهنياً وفق معايير الانكيت (NCATE) من وجهة نظر الطلبة، وقد تناول البحث مقرر (346نهج-مناهج وطرق تدريس التربية الفنية) ومقرر (466نهج-التربية الميدانية) بالنقد والتقويم، كما تم احتساب الفروق بين متوسطات استجابات أفراد عينة البحث تبعاً لمتغير النوع والمشرف على التدريب الميداني، وقد تكونت عينة البحث من طلاب وطالبات التربية الفنية المعلمين البالغ عددهم (35طالباً) و(32طالبة). وقد توصل البحث إلى عدد من النتائج من أهمها: وجود اتفاق بين أفراد عينة البحث حول فاعلية مقرر (346نهج) في تهيئتهم لتحقيق أهداف الخبرات الميدانية بشكل عام بمتوسط (2.86)، كما أشارت النتائج إلى وجود اتفاق بشدة بين أفراد العينة على فاعلية مقرر (466 نهج) في تهيئهم لتحقيق أهداف الخبرات الميدانية بمتوسط (3.28)، وقد تفاوتت أراء أفراد العينة حول مدى فاعلية المقررين من خلال متوسطات استجاباتهم لفقرات الأداة بين لا أوافق وأوافق بشدة. كما أظهرت نتائج البحث فروقاً ذات دلالة إحصائياً بين استجابات أفراد العينة نحو فاعلية مقررات الخبرات الميدانية في تحقيق أهدافها تبعاً لمتغيرات البحث، وبناءً على ما أسفرت عنه نتائج هذا البحث وتحليلاتها، فقد تم التواصل إلى عدد من التوصيات.
