The current study aims to identify the degree of the Palestinian family practice level of values of children’s rights as perceived by the children in the Gaza Strip, and the relationship of practice degree with the variables of sex, place of residence of parents and their jobs. To achieve the objectives of the study, the researcher constructed a value- list and a 48-item questionnaire distributed into four domains. After insuring validity and reliability of the tools, the instruments were administered to a sample consisting of (390) male and female pupils who were selected by random cluster technique. The data were analyzed. The study findings showed that: the degree of the Palestinian family practice level of the children’s rights was (moderate) in all domains and all items as the total score on the instrument was (1,100); there were statistically significant differences at (0.01) attributable to gender in the domain of the right to live in a dignified family and the right to freedom; there were statistically significant differences attributable to place of residence and the right to freedom domain, and the right to dignity and estimation, and the total score of the instrument; there were no statistically significant differences in the rest of the variables. The study put forth some recommendations, the most important of which were; conducting further studies in the field of the Palestinian children’s rights; expanding effort to raise the consciousness level of the importance of children’s rights on the part of the Palestinian family.
