This study aims to investigate the problems facing the police officers in English language speaking skills in North Kordofan State. The research conductor adopted the descriptive analytical method to analyze the collected data, and the questionnaire was used as data gathering tool. The population of the study includes the police officers in North Kordofan State with its old boundaries, and the sample includes (60) police officers with different ranks. The study results out with some findings such as: 1- North Kordofan State police officers' performance in speaking English language is weak. 2- Weakness of police officers' speaking abilities at North Kordofan State came as a Poor Culture culpa in the speaking skills of English language. The study recommends the following : 1- North Kordofan State police officers should more attention to speaking skills in English language. 2- The administration of Police Training College should give priority to the spoken English through advanced courses for police officers. |
