المستخلص: هدف هذا البحث إلى إعداد استراتيجية تدريس قائمة على نموذج فراير Fryer واستراتيجية SQ5R لتدريس الجغرافيا وتحديد فاعليتها في تنمية المفاهيم والقيم البيئية المتضمنة في أبعاد التنمية المستدامة لدى طلاب الصف الأول الإعدادي، وقد استخدام الباحث المنهج الوصفي والمنهج شبه التجريبي، حيث قام بصياغة دروس وحدتين من وحدات منهج الدراسات الاجتماعية للصف الأول الإعدادي بالفصل الدراسي الثاني، وتدريسهما لطلاب المجموعة التجريبية، كما أعد اختباراً للمفاهيم ومقياسا للقيم البيئية، وتم تطبيق البحث على عينة مكونة من (70) طالباً بمحافظة الشرقية مقسمة إلى مجموعة تجريبية وأخرى ضابطة.
وقد توصل الباحث إلي فاعلية الاستراتيجية المقترحة في تنمية المفاهيم والقيم البيئية المتضمنة في أبعاد التنمية المستدامة، لدي طلاب الأول الإعدادي، حيث وجد فروق دالة إحصائيا بين متوسط درجات طلاب المجموعة الضابطة، ودرجات طلاب المجموعة التجريبية في التطبيق البعدي لاختبار المفاهيم ومقياس القيم البيئية لصالح طلاب المجموعة التجريبية.

The aim of this research is to prepare a teaching strategy based on the Fryer model and the SQ5R strategy to teach geography and determine its effectiveness in the development of environmental concepts and values included in the dimensions of sustainable development among the primary first year students. The researcher used the descriptive and semi-experimental method, where he formulated the lessons of two units from the curriculum of the social studies of the second semester of primary first year and taught them to students of the experimental group. He also prepared a test for the concepts and a measure of environmental values. The research was applied to a sample of (70) students in Sharqia Governorate divided into experimental and control groups.
The researcher has found the effectiveness of the proposed strategy in the development of environmental concepts and values included in the dimensions of sustainable development, among the students of the primary first year. There were statistically significant differences between the mean scores of the students of control group and the scores of the students of experimental group in the post application to test the concepts and measure the environmental values in favour of the students of experimental group.
