|f Geography is the material that contributes to the cross-disciplinary approach that is envisaged by environmental education for sustainable development. If the analysis of the 2012 textbook content for the three levels of secondary education indicates a lack of objectives for this article in the Algerian school system, its association with the values of environmental education for sustainable development stands out in the balance of the placements they address and are still very low.\nThe survey in the cities of Bordj Bou Arreridj and Khenchela confirmed the multifaceted constraints encountered in its implementation, not only because of the low level of professors in this area, but also the shortcomings observed in their training system. \nThe promotion to the basic concepts and issues of environmental education for sustainable development and the teaching methods that are necessary to be practiced is the first step in education that aims to instill changes in values and lifestyles, and responsible attitudes to achieve the sustainability of development.\nThis abstract translated by Dar AlMandumah Inc 2018.

|a تمثل الجغرافيا المادة التي تساهم في منهج عبور التخصصات التي تتوخاها التربية البيئية للتنمية المستدامة. فإذا كان تحليل محتوى الكتاب المدرسي لسنة 2012 للمستويات الثلاثة من مراحل التعليم الثانوي يشير إلى انعدام الأهداف المخصصة لهذه المادة في النظام المدرسي الجزائري، فإن ارتباطها مع القيم التي تحملها التربية البيئية من أجل التنمية المستدامة تبرز في ميزان المواضع التي تتناولها وهي لا تزال منخفضة جدا.\nوأكد المسح في ثانويات مدن برج بوعرريج وخنشلة القيود المتعددة الأوجه التي واجهتها في تنفيذه، ليس فقط بسبب تدنى مستوى الأساتذة في هذا المجال، ولكن أيضا أوجه القصور التي لوحظت في نظام تكوينهم.\nإن الترقية إلى المفاهيم والقضايا الأساسية للتربية البيئية من أجل التنمية المستدامة ومناهج التدريس الضرورية لممارستها تعتبر الخطوة الأولى في التعليم الذي يهدف إلى غرس التغيرات في القيم وأنماط الحياة، والمواقف المسئولة للوصول إلى ديمومة التنمية.

|d La géographie est une discipline qui contribue à l'approche transdisciplinaire envisagée par l'éducation à l'environnement pour le développement durable. L'examen des contenus des manuels scolaires de des trois paliers de lycées s'il indique l'absence de finalités assignées à cette discipline dans le système scolaire algérien, son articulation aux valeurs véhiculées par l'EEDD se traduit par un poids des thèmes relatifs à cette thématique encore assez faible. Une enquête dans les lycées des villes de Bordj Bou Arréridj et Khenchela a souligné les contraintes multiformes rencontrées pour sa mise en pratique, dues non seulement au faible niveau des enseignants en cette discipline mais aussi aux carences observés dans le système de formation des enseignants. Une mise à niveau aux concepts, aux enjeux sous jacent de l'EEDD et aux méthodes pédagogiques nécessaire à sa pratique constitue une première étape d'une éducation qui vise à inculquer les changements de valeurs, de modes de vie et d'attitudes responsables permettant d'accéder à la durabilité du développement.
