المستخلص: Runuk (Plural of Rank - Emblem of Mamluks in Egypt) appeared in abundance on antiques and monuments made by the painting of sultans and princes of the Mamluk state in both maritime and Circassian parts. It varied between simple Rank, both personal and occupational, as well as composite Runuk of various types.
In addition, Egypt knew the manufacturing of the finest types of carpets held in the Mamluk era, and the palaces and houses of sultans and princes were not free from them. Rather, they represented an important part of the Sultan's gifts for being stately and for their quality of manufacturing. They were, undoubtedly, art objects in which the best manufacturing techniques and colors were used, and thus they became of a unique identity.
This research deals with one of the most important occupational types of Runuk, which has appeared on many monuments and artifacts applied in the Mamluk era. The sommelier's job was one of the important and sensitive functions of the Royal Court, and whoever held it must have the trust of the Sultan.
The research focuses on the different forms of the Runuk of sommelier that appeared on Mamluk carpets - most of which are displayed in museums abroad, whether in their simple or composite forms and their distinctive colors that varied from one Rank to another depending on the difference of the owner of the Rank.

Les blasons chez les musulmans, leurs formes, leur origine et leur fonction, est un sujet qui a fait couler beaucoup d’encre. Il existait diverses sortes de blasons, personnel ou fonctionnel, simples ou composés, temporels ou permanents.
Cette recherche traite un blason fonctionnel d’une importance primordiale, et qui est figuré sur divers monuments et pièces d’arts appliqués, c’est le blason du calice, attribué aux échansons; une charge assez sensible dans la cour du sultan et dont le responsable devait, à l’époque, jouir d’une confiance ultime de la part du sultan pour la remplir.
Parmi les divers arts appliqués, cette recherche met l’accent sur le blason du calice, exécuté sur les tapis mamelouks, sans doute, considérés comme des pièces artistiques distinctes dont les techniques de la fabrication ainsi que les couleurs lui offrent une identité unique.
Les musées d’arts à l’étranger comportent des chefs- d’œuvres des tapis fabriqués en Egypte sous les mamelouks, la présente contribution en analyse quelques pièces, comportant le blason d’échanson sous différentes formes et couleurs.


ظهرت الرنوك بكثرة على التحف والآثار التي صنعت برسم سلاطين وأمراء الدولة المملوكية بشقيها البحري والجركسي، وقد تنوعت بين الرنوك البسيطة -بشقيها الشخصية والوظيفية -فضلا عن الرنوك المركبة بأنواعها المختلفة.
هذا إلى جانب أن مصر عرفت صناعة أجود أنواع السجاد المعقود في العصر المملوكي، ولم تخل قصور ومنازل السلاطين والأمراء منها، بل أنها مثلت جزءا هاما من الهدايا السلطانية نظرا لفخامتها وجودة صناعتها، فقد كانت -بلا شك-قطعا فنية استخدمت فيها أفضل تقنيات التصنيع والألوان وأصبحت ذات هوية فريدة.
يتناول هذا البحث أحد أهم أنواع الرنوك الوظيفية وهو رنك الساقي الذي ظهر على كثير من الآثار والتحف التطبيقية المملوكية. كانت وظيفة الساقي من الوظائف الهامة والحساسة في البلاط السلطاني وكان يجب على من يتقلدها أن يحظى بثقة السلطان.
يركز البحث على الأشكال المختلفة لرنك الساقي التي وردت على السجاد المملوكي -والمعروض معظمها في متاحف في الخارج، سواء كانت في صورتها البسيطة أو المركبة وبألوانها المميزة التي اختلفت من رنك لآخر تبعا لاختلاف صاحب الرنك.
